Craft beer and football, that’s what Chicago does.
Former Bears long-snapper Patrick Mannelly took to Twitter on Friday night to announce that his custom craft beer, Longsnapper IPA from TightHead Brewing Company, will be available at Soldier Field during the 2021 NFL season.
Longsnapper IPA is a Pale Ale mixture, according to On Tap Sports Net’s very own Jim Sramek. You can read his full review of Mannelly’s brew here. Not only is this IPA a collaboration with a former Bears player, but it’s made by a local brewery as well. TightHead Brewing Company is located in Mundelein, Illinois.
Patrick Mannelly was the longest-tenured player in Chicago Bears’ history. His love for craft beer, mullets, and El Caminos came full-circle when he partnered with TightHead Brewing Company.
This new addition to the Soldier Field beer selection is fantastic news. Beginning with the first preseason game against the Dolphins, Bears fans will be able to enjoy this 6% ABV beer all season long.
It’s time to forget the Coors Lights, Miller Lites, and 312’s at Soldier Field in 2021. Fans can get rowdy faster with Longsnapper IPA and cheer on the Bears to victory all season. The Bears are back, and that means one thing. Huck it, chuck it, FOOTBALL!
