The Chicago Bulls announced their 2021-22 NBA regular-season schedule on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls will open the season against the Pistons in Detroit on Wednesday, October 20 at 6 PM. The home opener will feature Lonzo Ball facing his former team when the Bulls host the Pelicans on Friday, October 22 at 7 PM.
The Bulls hit the road for a west coast swing in mid-November, beginning with a matchup vs. Golden State on Friday the 12th at 9 PM on ESPN. Alex Caruso will face his former team when the Bulls visit LeBron James and the Lakers on Monday the 15th at 9:30 PM. That five-game stretch concludes with a trip to Denver on Friday the 19th at 8 PM. Nikola Vucevic squares off against his former team on Friday, November 26 when he and the Bulls visit Orlando at 6 PM.
The Lakers visit Chicago just before Christmas for a matchup at the United Center on Sunday, December 19 at 2:30 PM. The Bulls did not get a Christmas Day game this year, but they will close out 2021 on New Year’s Eve in Indiana at 2 PM.
Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets will be in town for a late 9 PM start on Wednesday, January 12. That game will air on ESPN. The Bulls will get their first look at the 2020-21 NBA Champions on Friday, January 21 when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 PM. DeMar DeRozan’s former team will host his new squad on Friday, January 28 at 7:30 PM when the Bulls visit San Antonio.
February brings about a home-heavy slate as the Bulls play nine games at the United Center and just three road contests. All-Star Weekend will take place from Friday, February 18 through Sunday, February 20.
The Bulls welcome the reigning NBA Champions to the United Center for the first time on Friday, March 4 at 6:30 PM when Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks square off with the new-look Bulls on ESPN. That contest will be one of just four home games for the Bulls in March, as they will be on the road 10 times that month.
The Bulls close out the regular season in early April with four consecutive home games followed by a visit to Minnesota on Sunday the 10th (time TBD) to wrap up the 82-game slate.
