On Sunday, the Chicago Bears added another player to their already crowded wide receiver room, although only a few out of the bunch have actually stood out. As a result, the team signed former Houston Texans WR Isaiah Coulter to bolster the competition.

Coulter is a 2020 fifth-round pick for Houston. Despite landing on the on the injured-reserved for the first month of his rookie season (September 7 to October 7), Coulter played in only one game and saw six snaps.

He has not officially registered a stat in the NFL, according to Pro-Football-Reference. Nevertheless, the Texans waived Coulter just six days ago after just one season with the team. Now, he can call Chicago home for the time being.

Interestingly, per @ButkusStats, here is an overview and player comparison for Isaiah Coulter.

Surprisingly, Coulter’s NFL player comp is, someone Bears fans should be familiar with, Marquess Wilson.

Currently, the roster sits at 85 players after recent cuts this past week. While the next round of cuts, that will trim the roster from 85 to 80, are due before the deadline on Tuesday afternoon, the Bears cannot add to the roster without a corresponding move.
