The Chicago White Sox are getting a utility player back in the mix. Ahead of tonight’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays, the club reinstated Leury Garcia from the 10-day injured list and optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Burr to Triple-A Charlotte.

Garcia initially landed on the seven-day concussion list on August 15 (retroactive to August 13). The switch-hitter owns a slash line of .239/.318/.333 in addition to three home runs and 40 RBIs in 342 plate appearances across 94 games so far this season. Garcia will bat sixth and play second base for the White Sox in tonight’s game vs. the Blue Jays.

Burr appeared in three games since his latest call-up on August 15, allowing one earned run and striking out three in four innings of work.
