
The United Center released their new requirements for attending events, Blackhawks games, and Bulls games this season. According to the arena, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will be required in order to enter the arena.
This news will certainly be met with plenty of backlash. Amid the controversy over the vaccines and proof of vaccination, it’s safe to believe the entrance process into the United Center will not be smooth at first. In fact, it is probably best to arrive early for any events at the United Center this season.
In addition, the United Center has installed MERV-13 air filters throughout the arena. The filters filter out over 90 percent of air articles. The United Center is doing everything they can to make the arena safe for all fans to visit amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Blackhawks begin play at home on Tuesday, October 19 against the New York Islanders. As for the Bulls, they will begin their home games on Friday, October 22 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
