The Chicago Bears released their final injury report for Week Two. On the injury report, Larry Borom is confirmed out with an ankle injury and Eddie Goldman is listed as doubtful after a second straight day without practicing.
After Goldman missed Thursday’s practice, Bears fans felt a shadow of doubt cast over the state of the roster. The Florida State product is an important part of the Bears’ defense, and after Week One’s loss to the Rams, they could use him. Aside from Borom and Goldman, all other players practiced fully on Friday, suggesting those listed as questionable will play.
With uncertainty on the line on both sides of the ball, the offensive skill players provide some optimism for Sunday. With a full cast of characters between the tight end and wide receiver spots, Andy Dalton/Justin Fields will have a full stable of weapons to work with. However, those weapons are only effective if the quarterback is upright in the pocket.
The Bears host the Bengals for their first home game of the 2021 campaign. Kick off is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CDT as the Bears search for their first win this season.
