After defeating the Detroit Lions, Head Coach Matt Nagy stepped up to the podium for his postgame press conference. There, reporters began asking about the starting quarterback going into Week Five. Furthermore, they attempted to pry information about who was handling the play-calling duties from Nagy as well. Initially, Nagy would not take the bait and managed to sidestep the questions.

The fourth-year head coach remained non-committal about his starting quarterback going into the game against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, after being pressed further, he finally admitted who the play-caller was. In fact, it was offensive coordinator Bill Lazor handling those duties against the Lions.

Additionally, Nagy claimed “ultimately, it goes through me” in one last attempt to make it known that he’s still in power. As for who starts in Week Five against the Raiders? Well, knowing Matt Nagy, fans may have to wait until Saturday again.
