Bobby Fish opened the forbidden door last week when he challenged the newly crowned TNT Champion Sammy Guevara to a match. That bout took place last night on the second-anniversary Dynamite show, where he came up short in a very physical matchup. But that didn’t end his time with AEW. After the show went off the air for the night, the announcement came across social media.

What does Bobby Fish bring to the young company? Just 19 years of professional wrestling history. That will continue to mean a lot for the young wrestlers in the locker room, including Daniel Garcia, Anna Jay, Brian Pillman Jr., and many more. Fish is well-versed in different styles of the industry as well.

The match between the champion and challenger was a good mesh of their different styles. Fish was able to showcase his physical style, which was shown through his background in kickboxing. It will be interesting to see what he does next within AEW. Also, we can’t go without mentioning his old friend Adam Cole recently arrived in AEW too.
