The Chicago Bears are dealing with a handful of injuries heading into Week 6. On Tuesday, reports surfaced indicating Jeremiah Attaochu had suffered a season-ending injury, which turned out to be a torn pectoral.
On Wednesday, head coach Matt Nagy confirmed the injury and also mentioned that offensive tackle Germain Ifedi is headed to injured reserve as well due to an MCL sprain. However, Ifedi’s stint on IR will not be one that ends his season. At the minimum, he will miss three weeks.
As a result, the Bears made a flurry of corresponding roster moves.
While Attaochu and Ifedi on IR, the Bears promoted Ryan Nall and Sam Kamara to the active roster. The team also signed the following players to fill the open roster spots on the practice squad:
All three players will return to the team after being cut during roster trim downs. Notably, Ledarius Mack is the younger brother of Khalil Mack.
