The Chicago Bulls provided three important team updates today. First, 2020 fourth overall pick Patrick Williams was a full participant in practice today. Williams was previously out with a sprained ankle that he suffered on September 15 during an optional individual workout.

The Bulls have yet to announce if Patrick Williams will be available to play in Friday’s preseason finale against the Memphis Grizzlies. Williams averaged 9.2 points and 4.6 rebounds last season as one of the team’s starting forwards.

In addition to Williams’ return, newly signed center Tony Bradley also participated in his first practice with the team. Bradley split time last season between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers, where he averaged 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in just 16 minutes a game. Bradley had previously been out with a sore back, but recent reports indicate he may be available for Friday’s preseason contest.

According to JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors, the Bulls are also expected to sign former UCLA guard Bryce Alford to a training camp deal. During his time at UCLA, he played with both Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball. Alford spent last season playing for Benfica in Portugal, where he averaged 12.7 points while shooting an impressive 45% from three.

Alford stands 6-foot-3 and went undrafted in 2017. Hilariously enough, Alford is actually the player who started over Bulls’ star Zach LaVine at shooting guard during their lone season together at UCLA. During his collegiate career, Alford set UCLA’s school record for made three-pointers in a half with seven during a win against the University of Colorado.
