On Tuesday, the Chicago Bears reported a plethora of roster moves impacting the team. After the moves were released, many Bears fans and personalities alike shared their fears.

Deon Bush was placed on IR by the Bears, meaning he’ll miss a minimum of three games. Although Bush isn’t a normal starter, he is important depth in the defensive secondary. Due to Bush being placed on the IR, DB Teez Tabor was signed from the practice squad to the active roster.

Bush started two games for the Bears this season and played in all six games so far this season. In those six games, he amassed 17 total tackles and two passes defended.

In addition, the team placed OLB Robert Quinn on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Quinn, who is performing like the player he has historically been, has 13 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in the team’s first six games. This past week against the Packers, RB Damian Williams missed the game due to COVID-19. Ideally, the Bears hopefully won’t miss Quinn for too long.

The final move reported on Tuesday was the addition of RB Chris Thompson to the practice squad. Thompson is an eight-year NFL veteran, spending seven seasons in Washington. Last season, he played eight games for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bears are dealing with a lot of injuries as it is. Teven Jenkins, Larry Borom, and others are already missing. Now, the team may be without two more impactful players against the Buccaneers this weekend. At 3-3, the Bears cannot afford to lose significant players for long. If they do, this will be a tough season in Chicago.
