The Chicago Blackhawks have been dealing with several absences due to COVID-19 Protocol over the past few weeks. That list no longer includes forward Henrik Borgstrom, who returned to the ice for Wednesday’s morning skate.

Borgstrom last played in a game on October 24 and entered COVID Protocol on October 26. At that time, the list consisted of Borgstrom, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Jujhar Khaira, Riley Stillman, and assistant coaches Marc Crawford, Matt Meacham, Tomas Mitell, and Jimmy Waite.

Toews did not miss a game, but the others remained sidelined for an extended period of time. Kane, Meacham, and Mitell finally returned to the team Monday.

Khaira, Stillman, Crawford, and Waite exited COVID protocol Tuesday, leaving Borgstrom as the lone member on the list.

The 24-year-old forward has two points (one goal, one assist) in six games this season. His lone tally came in the most recent game he played.

Unfortunately for the Blackhawks, forward Tyler Johnson and defenseman Isaak Phillips entered COVID-19 Protocol just as Borgstrom exited.
