Chicago Bulls’ center Nikola Vucevic will miss multiple games after entering the NBA’s health and safety protocols, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports Vucevic will be out of action for at least 10 days. Johnson also notes that 76ers’ center Joel Embiid, whom Vucevic guarded in consecutive games last week, tested positive for COVID-19 at some point following the Bulls’ second game vs. Philadelphia, which took place last Saturday.
This absence comes as the Bulls enter a tough stretch of games. A 10-day period beginning today would sideline the center for the entirety of the Bulls’ upcoming West Coast road trip. Chicago will visit the Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, Trail Blazers, and Nuggets during that time frame.
Based on that timeline, the first game Vucevic could potentially be back for takes place when the Bulls return home to host the Knicks on November 21.
