On Wednesday, the Chicago Bears were busy making moves. The team is adding much-needed help to their porous secondary. According to Adam Schefter, the Bears are signing Dee Virgin to their practice squad.

The Bears PR team confirmed the news a few hours later.

The 28-year-old defensive back was an undrafted free agent for the Texans in 2017. Since then, Virgin has bounced around from team to team. He has spent time with the Texans, Lions, Rams, Patriots, and 49ers.

However, he has seen most of his time as a member of the practice squad. In his career, Dee Virgin has played in 21 games and has logged only 12 total tackles. Of those, 11 tackles were solo.
