The Bears will be without DB DeAndre Houston-Carson for the rest of the season due to a broken arm suffered on Sunday night in Green Bay.

On Monday, Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy briefed the media following the team’s loss to the Packers. According to Nagy, defensive back DeAndre Houston-Carson is done for the season after breaking his arm.

Houston-Carson has played fairly well for the Bears in 2021. Through 13 games, the sixth-year DB has 51 total tackles, four passes defended, two fumble recoveries, and an interception. The Bears are depleted on the defensive side of the ball due to injuries. The team is already without Khalil Mack and Danny Trevathan for the season. Now, the team is adding Houston-Carson to that list.

In addition to this injury, the Bears saw Justin Fields injure his non-throwing hand and Jason Peters leave Sunday’s contest with an ankle injury. Although the season feels over now that the Bears are 4-9, sustaining this many injuries will make for some interesting football to conclude the 2021 season.
