Coby White and Javonte Green are clear to return to the Bulls from COVID protocol. Both players have returned to the Advocate Center to get workouts in and shots up.

On December 1, White tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Coby White has only appeared in nine games for the Bulls so far in the 2021-22 NBA season. Offseason shoulder surgery caused White to miss the first 13 games of the season. White struggled in his return to the rotation, putting up only 6.1 PPG, 2.6 RPG, and 1.3 APG. He shot 34% from the field, 22% from downtown, and 57% from the charity stripe. Those are all career lows.

On December 4, Green tested positive. He has appeared in 23 games for the Bulls this year and 12 of them have been starts. Green has averaged 20.6 MPG, 5.4 PPG, and 4.3 RPG on 49% shooting from the field and a career-high 38% from deep. His high-energy style of play will be a welcome sight once he can make his way back to the court.

The Bulls had two of their games this week postponed due to the internal COVID outbreak. With players starting to trickle back into normalcy, the Bulls hope to come out of the gate strong Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Having Coby White and Javonte Green back in the mix should help.
