The Chicago Bulls cannot seem to shake COVID-19. The day after the last Bulls’ players exited the NBA’s health and safety protocols, head coach Billy Donovan has entered them.
Donovan came to Chicago before the 2020-21 season after a five-year stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since joining the Bulls, Donovan has posted a 50-51 record, including a rebuilding year during his first season in charge.
In Donovan’s absence, Chris Fleming will serve as acting head coach.
Assuming Billy Donovan will miss 10 days, the team will be without him on the sidelines for their next five games.
