The NHL has postponed the Chicago Blackhawks vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 28 due to COVID-related reasons.

There is no makeup date yet. The Blackhawks announced all tickets for Tuesday’s game will automatically be valid for the new game date.

Prior to the Holiday Break, the NHL paused the season also due to COVID-19 outbreaks around the league.

Tuesday’s schedule change becomes the Blackhawks’ fourth postponed contest. The others were originally scheduled for Dec. 13 vs. Calgary, Dec. 21 vs. Florida, and Dec. 23 vs. Dallas.

With the NHL not sending its players to the Olympics, it will likely use the originally scheduled two-week break in mid-February to make up postponed games. Like the rest of the league, the Blackhawks will likely be busy during that time period.
