Isaiah Foskey is staying home.

For Foskey, home is at Notre Dame, where he’ll return for another season and pass on the 2022 NFL Draft. The edge rusher announced his decision to return to the Irish on social media Saturday.

Foskey led Notre Dame in sacks (11) and tackles for loss (12.5) this past season. He considered entering the NFL Draft this spring, but likely would’ve been a second-day selection. Another season in South Bend could raise his draft stock into the first round in 2023.

Foskey joins twin brothers Jayson Ademiloa and Justin Ademilola as defensive linemen to announce their respective returns for 2022. The trio will give Irish defensive line coach Mike Elston three seniors up front, with junior Rylie Mills in the mix at defensive tackle or end. Jacob Lacey and Howard Cross can also provide depth in the middle.
