The Chicago Blackhawks are dealing with a bit of a COVID-19 outbreak right now. Ahead of Thursday’s game against the Canadiens, Hawks’ forwards Kirby Dach and Dylan Strome entered protocol. Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago first reported the news.

Kirby Dach and Dylan Strome join defensemen Seth Jones and Jake McCabe in the protocol.

This news comes not long after the Blackhawks got a pair of forwards back from COVID Protocol. Brandon Hagel and Sam Lafferty rejoined the team Thursday morning after a week-long absence.

Due to those circumstances, it’s possible Hagel and Lafferty return to the lineup tonight. Following Blackhawks’ morning skate, interim head coach Derek King did not disclose his team’s lineup. Check back for more details as they become available.
