Zach LaVine will not return to tonight’s Chicago Bulls game versus the Golden State Warriors with an apparent left knee injury.

Billy Donovan subbed Ayo Dosunmu in for LaVine with 8:28 left in the first quarter. LaVine walked straight down the tunnel with trainer Arthur Lee.

LaVine was walking under his own power, but did have a slight visible limp. Stay tuned with On Tap Sports Net for more updates on Zach LaVine’s health. LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have been one of the best duos in the NBA. Losing LaVine could be detrimental for Chicago.

UPDATE: According to NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, there is initial confidence that LaVine did not suffer a serious injury. However, he will undergo precautionary tests on Saturday to confirm.

As indicated, the word used to describe how LaVine feels is “discomfort”. The Bulls and their fans are certainly hoping that is really the case.
