The Chicago Bulls will be shorthanded yet again when they visit the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. Lonzo Ball will not suit up due to knee soreness.

The Bulls originally listed Ball as questionable this morning, but his status has now been downgraded to out.

Beyond Lonzo Ball, Chicago will also be without Zach LaVine. The star guard suffered a knee injury Friday against the Warriors. Luckily, the results of LaVine’s MRI were positive and the Bulls do not expect him to miss significant time.

But in the immediate future, the Bulls have a tall task ahead of them against the Celtics. Beyond Ball and LaVine, Alex Caruso, Derrick Jones Jr., and Javonte Green all remain sidelined.
