The Chicago Blackhawks will get their top defenseman back in the mix soon. Seth Jones tested out of the NHL’s COVID Protocol on Monday. But with the team on the West Coast for a matinee game in Seattle, Jones won’t suit up today.

Jones entered COVID Protocol on Jan. 11. Though he missed the last three games, the Blackhawks went 3-0-0 during that stretch.

On the season, Jones has 25 points (three goals, 22 assists) and leads the Blackhawks in ice time with an average of 25.54 per game.

With Seth Jones back, the list of Blackhawks’ players in COVID Protocol shrinks to three. Fellow defenseman Jake McCabe returned yesterday, but forwards Brett Connolly, Kirby Dach, and Dylan Strome remain in protocol.
