Chicago Bulls forward Tyler Cook, who’s been sidelined since Jan. 1, expects to play against the Cavaliers Wednesday.
Cook scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds in 14 minutes for the Windy City Bulls on Tuesday. It was his first game action since suffering a left ankle sprain against the Wizards on New Year’s Day. The Bulls still list Cook as questionable, however.
While he’s only averaging 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game this season, Cook (6-foot-8, 255 pounds) should help reinforce a depleted frontcourt that’s still without Derrick Jones Jr., Javonte Green, and Patrick Williams.
