After years of continual growth, Chicago beer giant Revolution is expanding its distribution area. This time, Revolution is hopping the Mississippi River into Iowa and Minnesota. The expansion will occur in March and April of 2022. In Iowa, Revolution has teamed up with the Johnson Brothers. In Minnesota, they are paired with Artisan Beer Company.
“Iowa and Minnesota are two great Midwestern markets for craft beer, and we have received numerous requests from beer drinkers there for our brews,” Chairman of the Party Josh Deth said. “We’ve been patient in our approach to expansion, and have waited for the right moment and perfect partner to enter these markets. The time has come for Revolution Brewing to cross the Mississippi and finally send our beer westward from Chicago.”
Whether it is Chicagoans who have moved west from the 312 beer scene or simply Midwest craft beer lovers, customers should be excited. Both states will have access to the brewery’s popular Hero IPAs, which include Anti-Hero, Hazy-Hero, and the League of Heroes variety pack. Additionally, beer aficionados can look forward to Freedom Session Sours, including the newly debuting Freedom Lemonade.
Revolution Brewing’s brewpub space resides in the heart of Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood and the brewery is in neighboring Avondale. It is the largest independently owned and operated brewery in all of Illinois.
Revolution currently distributes in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nashville, New Jersey, New York City, and Wisconsin. In early 2022, Iowa (March) and Minnesota (April) will join that list.
