There are plenty of films coming out in 2022 with the obvious blockbuster Uncharted, but there are four new movies in February that you truly can’t miss. We’ll revisit an old classic and get terrified of a new alien species. We’ll warm our hearts with the love of a furry friend and maybe make the greatest new rock album of all time.

Release Date: Feb. 4, 2022

The plot of Moonfall focuses on an alien force taking over the moon. It pushes it toward Earth causing massive polar changes to the planet. A space crew takes off from the planet and heads to the moon. They’ll try to destroy whatever the cosmic entity is and save the planet.

Moonfall has a plethora of great actors such as Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, Michael Pena, the legendary Donald Sutherland, and Samwell Tarly himself John Bradley.

Jackass Forever

Release Date: Feb. 4, 2022

If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, it’s a must-watch because it’s loaded with goodies. This flick has to be seen in theatres for any fan of the old show and movies.

If you already knew this movie was on its way, then you’re already pumped for it or you could care less. If you’re the former and take anything away from this film it’s this: these guys are risking it all, again, for us. Whether you love it or hate it, it doesn’t matter. Because some people will cherish the fact that these crazy-ass dudes got together for one final Jackass.

Release Date: Feb. 18, 2022

Who doesn’t love good buddy-cop films? They had their time in the spotlight but resurface a bit in Dog. People tend to criticize Channing Tatum’s performance every time he’s on the big screen. Whether or not you like him, he reached a new level in 21 Jump Street and gained plenty of new fans because of it.

Dog seems like a simple movie with an inevitably predictable storyline of a former soldier becoming friends with a dog. But they don’t bond this friendship so easily. They’re going to endure adversity, become friends, and he’s going to get the girl in the end. Simple and wholesome, but much needed in the unnerving times we still exist in. When you add in Bill Burr and the incredibly inspiring Ethan Suplee, we got ourselves a flick.

Studio 666

Release Date: Feb. 25, 2022

The most exciting movie on this list is without a doubt Studio 666. Dave Grohl wrote and stars in this incredible new horror film alongside the rest of Foo Fighters. The band Foo Fighters moves into a haunted mansion to record their new album and things get spooky.

Chicago’s own Jeff Garlin and comedian Whitney Cummings join the cast of this unique film. Dave Grohl gets possessed in search of that brand new sound, and I can’t wait to see it because this has the vibe of a great B movie.

Without a doubt, there are many more films coming in the month of February but these stand out for so many reasons. What other new movies are you excited about? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
