The Chicago Sky have signed former No. 4 overall pick Kysre Gondrezick to a training camp contract, according to Annie Costabile of the Chicago Sun-Times.
After the 2021 WNBA season, Gondrezick announced that she would be stepping away from the game to focus on her mental health.
Kysre Gondrezick was released by the Indiana Fever in January. The former Mountaineer played 19 games for the Fever in 2021 averaging 1.9 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 9.1 minutes per game.
Hopefully the former West Virginia star guard that averaged 19.5 PPG in her senior season can bounce back in training camp and secure a role on the Sky’s roster.
