The Chicago Bulls are riding a four-game win streak after their 120-109 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. In addition, the Bulls are still the No. 2 team in the Eastern Conference sitting a half-game back of the Miami Heat. In a recent interview with Ashish Mathur, Zach LaVine shared some exciting words for Bulls fans.

Think about that. This Bulls team has been far from healthy all season and they’re still second in the East. Early in the season, Chicago lost rising star Patrick Williams. In December, the Bulls rotated through a number of players dealing with COVID-19. Now, the team is without two of their best defenders in Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. Hell, even LaVine has missed the last two games. Despite the obstacles, the Bulls are 37-21 on the season.

This team, assembled by Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley, has yet to play at full strength this season. DeMar DeRozan’s MVP-caliber season, along with rising performances from Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, and Nikola Vucevic, have largely carried this team into February. However, there is hope on the horizon. Williams, Ball, and Caruso will all return at various points in the month of March. In addition, Zach LaVine should be at full health when the calendar turns as well. Factor all those points together and you have a dangerous team for the home stretch.
