Bulls’ Alex Caruso to Resume Basketball Activities in 7-10 Days

Caruso hasn’t played since Jan. 21 when he suffered a broken wrist.

The Chicago Bulls expect Alex Caruso to receive clearance to resume dribbling and shooting in the next seven to 10 days, according to Billy Donovan.

Caruso has been out since he fractured his right wrist at the hands of Bucks guard Grayson Allen on Jan. 21. Caruso underwent surgery on Jan. 24, at which time the team said he’d be re-evaluated in 6-8 weeks.

The team has gone 9-5 in the defensive stalwart’s absence despite its defensive rating plummeting from 109.6 to 116.5.

Caruso’s status update is the second piece of positive injury news the Bulls have received today. All-Star guard Zach LaVine recently visited a knee specialist in Los Angeles, a session that went “very well.
