Former White Sox Outfielder Charlie Tilson Signs With Chicago Dogs

Former Chicago White Sox outfielder and Wilmette native Charlie Tilson will be back playing baseball in Chicago next season. The 29-year-old has signed a deal with the Chicago Dogs.

The Chicago Dogs announced the signing of Tilson on their Twitter account Sunday afternoon. Based on the tweet it appears to be a one-year deal.

Charlie Tilson last appeared in the big leagues during the 2019 season for the White Sox. He appeared in 54 games that season while slashing .229/.293/.285 over 157 plate appearances. Tilson spent most of the 2021 season with the AAA Lehigh Valley IronPigs, part of the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
