Another Month, Another Local TV Ratings Jump
Now according to the Sports Business Journal, the Bulls’ ratings are up over 83% in February. The increase is incredible and expected. There are other teams in the NBA ahead of the Bulls though that actually are surprised to be at the top.
NBC Sports Chicago recorded a 2.52 rating, the fifth-best in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks are slightly ahead of the Bulls with a 2.61 rating. Philidelphia is third with a 2.72 rating and then the gap widens. Cleveland sits in the second spot with a 3.74 rating. But Golden State is comfortably and superiorly ahead of everyone. They recorded a whopping 7.63 local TV rating.
The Bulls fell far short of leading in TV ratings to the Golden State Warriors. They will post the highest local TV ratings in the NBA for the fifth time in six years.
With the way the Bulls have been playing and will continue to play into the postseason, their TV ratings will only get better and better.
