BetMGM Sportsbook Opens in Illinois

With the mobile sports betting registration making its triumphant return in Illinois today, there’s a new player in town! BetMGM has launched operations in Illinois, becoming the seventh mobile operator in the state. They join BetRivers, FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, PointsBet, William Hill, and Barstool Sportsbook.

Unfortunately, if you plan on betting on Illinois collegiate sports, you’ll need to place your wagers in person, and you can’t bet on player props or place in-game wagers. The good news is, at least you legally can bet on Illinois teams with a bit of effort.
