Today is the day! AEW Revolution gets underway from Orlando, FL at 7 PM CT tonight to close out the weekend with a bang. The pay-per-view event will feature several intriguing matchups and plenty of action. Before the show begins, let’s dive into some predictions.
Tornado Trios Match: Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy, & Andrade El Idolo vs. Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, & Sting
Many fans are wondering why this match is even on the show. However, it’s important to remember that this bout will help progress the story for all involved parties. The team of Sting, Darby, and Sammy should be able to work well together. Sadly, the other team will continue to show the issues they have endured to date, which will lead to them turning on Matt Hardy.
Winners: Sammy, Darby, and Sting
Eddie Kingston vs. Chris Jericho
These two are finally meeting in the ring. Jericho has taken it to another level by attacking the man that Kingston has been in his life. But that might cost him on Revolution. Expect Kingston to do everything he can to win this match.
Winner: Eddie Kingston
Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match
“Keith Lee is the new guy, he’s clearly winning this match,” might be the initial reaction for many AEW fans. But I expect Team Taz to cost him this one, and that feud will continue. Such an occurrence would leave the door open for the most dominant wrestler in the company right now. Wardlow is going to make this match a symphony of destruction.
Winner: Wardlow
TBS Championship Match: Jade Cargill (C) vs. Tay Conti
The only other wrestler who is as dominant as Wardlow is the TBS Champion, Jade Cargill. That momentum will continue in this match, but fans should expect an exceptional battle. Tay Conti will take her to the limits and is a future champion in this company.
Winner: Jade Cargill
AEW Tag Team Championship: Young Bucks vs reDRagon vs. Jurassic Express (C)
Simply put, this match will be chaotic! Any time the Young Bucks are in a tag team match on PPV, they deliver. Expect plenty of fireworks from them and the two other amazing teams. This battle will come down to reDRagon and the Young Bucks trying to cost each other the match, opening the door for the Champions to retain.
Winners: Jurassic Express
Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson
This is the first of two barbaric matches on the AEW Revolution card. Moxley and Danielson are going to push each other to the limit. The major difference? Danielson will pull out all the stops to win this one. The question then becomes: what happens after this match? Do they team up or does the feud continue?
Winner: Bryan Danielson
Dog Collar Match: CM Punk vs. MJF
The true winner of this match will be the fans. But it does have a lot to live up to compared to AEW’s first Dog Collar Match. Still, this one should easily hit its mark. CM Punk and MJF are going to fight until the bitter end. However, the crafty, young, arrogant star, MJF, will find a way to win.
Winner: MJF
AEW Women’s Championship Match: Thunder Rosa vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (C)
This rematch has been a year in the making. Britt Baker can say she isn’t worried about Thunder Rosa, but you know she is. Just look back to the lights-out match when Thunder Rosa was able to beat her. She will be looking to do that again, but for the Championship this time. Baker is going to pull every truck out of the bag to keep her Championship again.
Winner: Britt Baker
AEW World Championship Match: Adam Cole vs. Hangman Adam Page
Finally, we have the battle of the Adams! This match is going to surprise fans. Both wrestlers can go and it will help solidify Page as the true champion. His reign has been rather odd from the start, but AEW Revolution is where it takes that leap forward to what it needs to be.
Winner: Hangman Adam Page
