The Chicago Sky have waived guard Crystal Bradford, according to Rachel Galligan of Winsidr.
Coming off a broken foot injury from last season, Bradford signed with the Sky back in February. Her tenure in Chicago lasted a little over a month.
Bradford’s agent Marcus Crenshaw said the reason for the Sky waiving his client was due to the foot injury, as the team felt her right foot has not fully healed. Bradford will not be back to full health at the beginning of the 2022 season but believes she will be ready midway through the season.
It will be interesting to see which direction the Chicago Sky will go in the coming weeks to find a replacement for Crystal Bradford.
