Obi-Wan Kenobi Trailer Release Date Star Wars Limited Series

A new trailer for the Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series hit the internet Wednesday to much applause from Star Wars fans all across the galaxy. The Star Wars limited series will stream on Disney+ beginning on May 25.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is directed by Deborah Chow (The High Cost of Living), who directed two episodes of “The Mandalorian” — Season 1 Chapter 3 “The Sin” and Chapter 7 “The Reckoning.”

The series picks up between Episode III “Revenge of the Sith” and Episode IV “A New Hope.” It will chronicle the adventures of the title character (played again by Ewan McGregor) as he fulfills his promise and watches the growth of Luke Skywalker from afar on Tatooine.

The trailer teases us with intriguing new characters, some of the old Star Wars fan favorites, Siths, Jedi hunters, and plenty of Imperial Storm Troopers.

If there’s one thing that the Star Wars franchise has always done well, regardless of who was in control, it’s been producing gripping trailers. The Obi-Wan Kenobi preview was no exception. The success of “The Mandalorian” and “The Book Of Boba Fett” gives fans confidence that this series will be another thrilling addition to the Star Wars saga.
