Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan provided multiple injury updates this afternoon. Alex Caruso can play with no limitations, Patrick Williams could return soon, and Zach LaVine may miss more regular-season games.
The biggest blow here is obviously LaVine. If his left knee issue continues to be an issue, the Bulls will not get far. Though Patrick Williams and Lonzo Ball are gearing up for returns, LaVine being less than 100% is detrimental to the team’s success.
The Bulls are currently tied for third place in the Eastern Conference after a two-game winning streak. With Alex Caruso returning and Williams and Ball on the horizon, this team could make a serious push for a top-two seed before the season’s end. That’s if Zach LaVine can stay on the court.
It’s been an injury-plagued season for the Bulls, but hopefully they can get to full health and make serious noise in the postseason.
