The Chicago Sky continue to address their frontcourt needs. The team signed former Sky and University of Texas legend Imani McGee-Stafford to a training camp contract.

McGee-Stafford just wrapped up playing in Athletes Unlimited’s inaugural basketball season in Las Vegas. She finished in 21st place out of 44 players.

However, it has been almost three years since McGee-Stafford has played a game in the WNBA. Those five weeks in Las Vegas might have her well prepared for training camp.

The Chicago Sky originally selected Imani McGee-Stafford with the 10th overall pick in the 2016 WNBA Draft. During her time in the WNBA, the 6-foot-7 center averaged 13.8 MPG, 4.4 PPG, and 4.2 RPG.
