The last time we heard from the Chicago Bulls phenom, Luol Deng, he was coaching the South Sudan Basketball team. Now, Deng is cultivating the basketball future in South Sudan by hosting a camp for kids.
The Luol Deng Foundation posted the camp information on their Instagram account, as seen below:
The Deng Academy Mini’s Camp began yesterday March 14th and will continue till March 20th from 3PM-5PM at the University of Juba. We have children from the ages of 4-13 years old & 110 boys and girls registered!
The Luol Deng Foundation goes on to describe what the camp entails. Furthermore, it expresses that anyone can join this camp.
Players in this mini camp, whether they are beginners or advanced, will be trained in: speed, ball handling, defense, form, control, passing, angles, conditioning, footwork, explosiveness, and most importantly, overall court awareness and intelligence.
One of the greatest things about all the photos on the Luol Deng Foundation’s Instagram is all the kids are wearing Chicago Bulls t-shirts. Deng continues to promote the team brand of the Chicago Bulls on and off the court. He is largely one of the many reasons the Bulls are known as a world-class organization.
