The United Center released a statement on Tuesday saying that after today, March 22, proof of vaccination or a negative test is no longer required for entry.

The United Center still recommends wearing a mask. However, masks are still deemed optional. This makes entry into the United Center what it once was, pretty easy. The United Center staff did a great job of checking everyone’s vaccination status and negative tests. Though it did take longer to get into the building, it was still a way for everyone to come together and feel safe in a big crowd.

As we’ve witnessed, these regulations can change given external factors. That said, the United Center is “back to normal” for the first time since March 2020, over two full years ago.

The Blackhawks play their next home game on Monday, March 28. As for the Bulls, they return home on March 31. Both games will mark the first games under the new policies.
