Chicago White Sox right fielder AJ Pollock left Saturday’s game early due to right hamstring tightness. In the third inning of the South Siders’ second game of the season, Pollock was in discomfort upon rounding first base after hitting a leadoff single.

Pollock walked off the field under his own power and Andrew Vaughn entered the game as his replacement

Announced before the game, Pollock will head to the paternity list after the Detroit series. While yet another White Sox injury isn’t ideal, perhaps the timing of Pollock’s ailment will sting a bit less.

The Chicago White Sox announced that AJ Pollock is undergoing further evaluation. Check back for more updates as they become available.
