The Chicago White Sox are enduring a rough Wednesday in Cleveland. In Game 1 of a doubleheader, the South Siders lost 11-1 in embarrassing fashion. In Game 2, they added another potential injury to their woes. Third baseman Josh Harrison exited the game early due to right shoulder soreness and is undergoing further evaluation.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Harrison made an outstanding catch tracking a fly ball into short left field. However, after he made the grab, he leaped to avoid a sliding Andrew Vaughn. After Harrison hit the grass, he appeared to be holding his shoulder.

Harrison initially remained in the game to finish the fifth inning and came back out on defense in the sixth. But when the White Sox made a pitching change with two outs in the sixth inning, Jake Burger replaced Harrison at third base.

This incident marks the second injury scare for Josh Harrison just 11 games into the season. He previously exited the Chicago White Sox’s April 13 game early due to lower back stiffness. That injury caused him to miss two games.
