The Chicago Bulls already have a difficult game four against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA playoffs and it just got a lot harder. Alex Caruso left the game early after being hit in the face with a forearm. Now, Caruso will not return to the Bulls’ playoff game.
NBC Sports Chicago Insider K.C. Johnson confirmed that Caruso will miss the remainder of the game with the facial injury. That said, ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Alex Caruso is possibly being evaluated for a concussion as well.
Alex Caruso played 17 minutes for the Chicago Bulls before leaving the game and recorded four assists and four rebounds. However, the Bulls will desperately miss Caruso’s defensive prowess on the court. Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine, and DeMar DeRozan have to step up in the fourth quarter if the Bulls have any shot at making this game closer than it is.
Any timetable on his return for game five in Milwaukee is yet to be determined.
