The Chicago Bears’ offseason just got a little more interesting, albeit not in a good way. Newly acquired wide receiver, Byron Pringle, was reportedly arrested in Florida.

Pringle was driving on a suspended driver’s license and got caught doing donuts with his son also in the car. According to TMZ, the 28-year-old wide receiver was driving his Dodge Challenger erratically in Pasco County, Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol says that Byron Pringle became “verbally confrontational” with police during the traffic stop. They arrested him for reckless driving in addition to driving on a suspended license.

The Chicago Bears signed the former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver to a one-year deal in March. Assuming the Bears retain him pending this new development, the 2022 season will be Pringle’s fourth year in the NFL.
