The Chicago Steel clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference for the 2022 USHL Clark Cup Playoffs with a 6-5 win over the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday at Mercy Health Arena.
The Steel scored four consecutive goals to earn a first-round bye and face the winner of a best-of-three series between No. 4 Youngstown and No. 5 Madison.
Sam Lipkin (Arizona Coyotes) scored two goals and Luca Fantilli had two assists for Chicago, which will look to repeat as Clark Cup champions.
