Chicago Bears offensive lineman Cody Whitehair was recently on the Sports Krunch podcast hosted by David Kromelow. They talked about football and the Bears’ new regime. When asked about the new offense, Whitehair had some interesting comments because of the regime change.
David asked Cody about the Bears new offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. He mentioned the Packers’ offensive playmakers love the former Green Bay quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
Furthermore, David asked him how Getsy will fit with Justin Fields. Together, they add plenty of optimism for Bears fans heading into the 2022 season.
“This offense is perfect for Justin Fields. Being able to use his legs and knowledge to this offense. He definitely fits this scheme very well. We’re getting to see where he’s at and he handled everything really well.”

The Chicago Bears have the rest of the offseason to prepare for the upcoming season because it’s still only April. But, it bodes well for the offense if veterans like Cody Whitehair are praising the new offensive scheme.
