After they added another defensive weapon to their secondary with their first pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears did it again. The Bears selected safety Jaquan Brisker with the 48th pick in the second round of the NFL Draft.
Jaquan Brisker played in 34 games during his three seasons at Penn State. He recorded 85 tackles, ten of which were for a loss. He had five interceptions over his career, defended 14 passes, and adds great size and speed to the Bears’ defense.
The Chicago Bears have significantly added to their defense with Jaquan Brisker. Playing alongside Eddie Jackson and newly acquired cornerback Kyler Gordon is surely a recipe for success. GM Ryan Poles clearly wants to reinforce the defense with head coach Matt Eberflus implementing a new system.
