Jordan Brand announced Tuesday that Chicago Sky guard Dana Evans has signed with the brand.
Evans becomes the first NBA or WNBA player to win a championship in Chicago and sign with Jordan Brand since His Airness, Michael Jordan himself.
“I was always a sneaker head and now understanding that Jordans are a symbol of excellence and being part of the Jordan Brand Family is everything I thought it would be and more!” Evans said.
Entering her second WNBA season, Evans figures to have an elevated role as the Chicago Sky look to repeat as WNBA champions.
Dana Evans played an average of 7.6 minutes per game last season for the Sky, posting 3.3 PPG and 1.0 APG while shooting 40 percent from behind the arc.
