How incredible is it that on May the Fourth (if you know, you know) Star Wars released another trailer for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming to Disney+. If you haven’t watched it yet, celebrate the day by taking it in. You’ll immediately get excited about what’s to come.

We’re going to get into some spoilers, so if you’re reading now, watch the trailer first.

Ok, let’s discuss. For starters, the ending? Oh my… we need the Darth Vader/Obi-Wan Kenobi reveal like we need air. That said, Disney feels like they’re outdoing themselves with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Streaming on May 27, Obi-Wan Kenobi looks like everything Star Wars fans hoped it would be. As indicated in the trailer, the series will be a six-part event full of high-paced action and fun.

As of now, it’s hard not to mark your calendars for the end of May. From young Luke, to Uncle Owen, to the new characters that are introduced as they hunt down Obi-Wan Kenobi, there is plenty to get excited about. In addition, how cool is the inevitable battle scene between Vader and Kenobi? Oh my goodness. I will say, if fans are robbed of that moment, then this series might be looked at as a failure. Too soon? Maybe. However, this series looks sensational.

What’s On Tap Next?

As mentioned, Obi-Wan Kenobi begins streaming on May 27 over on Disney+. Ideally, the series will release one episode per week and keep fans guessing regarding what the next episode will hold. For now, we will celebrate today as the trailer drop day. Oh, and May the Fourth be with you.
