
As the Chicago Bears’ media day continues, their newest cornerback Kyler Gordon had some fun exchanges with reporters. They asked about his dance moves, his skills in the secondary, and what he’s experiencing so far in the NFL.
“I’m enjoying being around everyone but there’s a lot of work ahead and I’m excited to be on this path.”

The reporters asked Gordon about Jaquan Brisker being picked shortly after he was and how they can work together on the Bears. Additionally, they asked what he will do in order to earn a starting role.
“We started talking and we’ll build our relationship and it’ll be good for us to go back and forth. I’m gonna try to give my all and get a starting role on this team but I feel pretty prepared coming from Washington. With everything they taught me, I know that transition will carry over to the NFL.”

Kyler Gordon Is Bringing Back The Peanut Punch!
It never really went away in the NFL but Kyler Gordon spoke about Charles Tillman and his infamous ‘Peanut Punch’. He also described what it was like to meet Peanut and how he has some big shoes to fill.
“That was wild, we watched a video and practiced the Peanut Punch. Then he’s there behind you and you’re like wow that’s him. We were very happy to have him there.”

Lastly, reporters asked Kyler Gordon what the most challenging part of playing nickel was. He mentioned that learning terminology can be difficult but he likes nickel. Gordon states that he doesn’t find it very challenging but is ready to play wherever the Chicago Bears need him.
