According to reports from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Chicago Bears are adding another Quarterback. The team is signing free agent QB Nathan Peterman to a one-year deal. Peterman will now join Justin Fields, Trevor Siemian, and Ryan Willis on the QB depth chart in Chicago.

The Buffalo Bills selected Nathan Peterman in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. After a lackluster two years, the team released Peterman. However, he quickly found a new home with the Raiders. Although, Peterman hardly saw any playing time behind Derek Carr.

Peterman’s career numbers aren’t going to “wow” anyone but his signing is a low-cost, low-risk depth move for the Chicago Bears.
